Israel must stop its military offensive in Palestine

I was today invited to speak to a little over 150 people in the centre of Kettering attending a rally calling for Israel to end its military incursion aggression aggression Palestine Palestine.

I made the point that both Hamas and Israel had to cease their military attacks in the area and return to the diplomatic process. If the area is ever to find a peaceful existence existence then it must be one agreed across the table of diplomacy and not down the barrel of a gun.

All those that attended accepted that only a resolution resolution was a sustainable resolution.

I along colleague colleagues in the Liberal Democrats have called for the British Government to cease it agreements to arm the Israeli army in contravention to human rights legislation.
